ENJOYING THE CHEAP SHOTS. I had MSNBC coverage of today's tax protests running for a while this evening. Rachel Maddow could do little better than to carp about the protests taking place on capitol grounds or public parks (tax funded) or about the protestors bringing children carrying signs about piggy banks. I agree with the point about children. They ought not be used as props in demonstrations that might bear the MSNBC imprimatur.

For my part, I overpaid. Some of my refund might go to prepaying future taxes, something about which I hope to say more as the semester winds down.
