HOISTING A SPRECHER. I'm out of Grading Jail. Some Somali Pirates have made a stopover in a German brig.

THE German Navy has captured seven men after Somali pirates made the mistake of attacking a German naval auxiliary vessel, the tanker Spessart in the gulf of Aden on Sunday.

It appears that after the pirates fired at the Spessart they were chased by the naval supply vessel and other warships on anti-piracy patrol on the area. No injuries have been reported.

According to reports the seven are now being held on the German frigate Rheinland-Pfalz. It is not yet clear what will happen to the men. Previoulsy supsected pirates have been offloaded for trial in regional states.
