The simplest way to switch here is simply to plan to move all the cars. First arrange the setouts, with the facing point cars behind the locomotive and the trailing point cars behind them. Then pull the trailing point cars. Some may have to be returned with the setouts. That provides enough headroom to pull the facing point cars. Pull the facing point cars. Push them beyond the Rock Island crossing. Run around. Add them to the facing point cars you left behind the locomotive. Run around again. Prepare the facing point setouts, including hold cars to be returned. Run around. Push that cut beyond the crossing. Pull the rest of the cars back. Run around again. Set out the facing points. (You did remember to include the Rock Island interchange cars, right?) The trailing points go relatively easily after that.
Novice operators sometimes forget that the rest of the railroad doesn't stop when the patrol is switching Ossian. This can make for interesting situations if the Sioux shows up while the shuffling is taking place on all the tracks.
