Chocolate-covered bacon is about to become a part of Wisconsin State Fair history, likely - and hopefully - ranking far behind the appearance of a clean-shaven Abraham Lincoln in 1859 and the landing by fledgling flier Arch Hoxsey in an early Wright Bros. plane in 1910.Don't forget the cream puffs, and a milk chaser. That crunching sound you hear is my arteries hardening.
Perhaps there's a political angle. Pass out chocolate-covered bacon at your Congressman's health-care town meeting.
