The summary for last year's Fifty Book Challenge didn't get posted until 21 January.  Against that standard of underachievement, the first quarter report for this year getting posted in the first week of April is progress, of a sort.  That also sets the table for additional reviews to be posted, perhaps some of them relatively soon.  Whether the fifty is achievable for this year remains to be seen.  The links below point to reviews posted at the Challenge.

  1. The End:  The Defiance and Destruction of Hitler's Germany, 1944-1945; 10 February 2013.
  2. Threat Vector; 11 February 2013 (meh)
  3. The Quest: Energy, Security, and the Remaking of the Modern World; 8 March 2013.
  4. Flatterland: like Flatland, only more so; and
  5. The Hidden Reality: Parallel Universes and the Deep Laws of the Cosmos; 10 March 2013.
  6. Detroit: An American Autopsy; 24 March 2013.
  7. Klanville, U.S.A.: The Rise and Fall of the Civil-Rights-Era Ku Klux Klan; 31 March 2013.

Would you believe, a thunderstorm. Wonder if that helps bookworms grow.
