A LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD.

Chris Chelios earns a spot in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
The resume is long, but there are spectacular highlights, like three-time Stanley Cup champion, three-time Norris Trophy winner as the NHL's best defenseman, four-time U.S. Olympian, three-time U.S. Olympic captain and 1983 NCAA champion.
There's no longevity award in professional hockey, although Mr Chelios is only now elected to the Hall of Fame because he was playing at the age of 48.  After he had tried out for the Greek bobsled team.

Congratulations.
