JUST ANOTHER SUNNY DAY IN PARADISE. For mid-January, again, it's more like early March, with sunshine and temperatures above freezing in DeKalb. Inside, the Huskies established a largish lead on Ball State only to have the visitors make the last run. Ouch.

In Green Bay, the snows began shortly after the Packers spotted Seattle an early fourteen point lead. By the end of the first quarter, the game was tied, with the Packers outscoring the Seahawks 42 to 6 after the initial Seattle scores. Better to have your bad winter game for the learning experience when the stakes are relatively low.
