Umpires who miss the final out of a perfect game, and booth reviewers who interpret touching the ball down as an incomplete pass add unnecessary injury.

By the rule book, the call was correct. I don't think it is fair to blame the officials for correctly interpreting the rule book just because it "looked" like a catch.
