JADED? For the first time in many years, I was home for Hallowe'en. There was some candy on hand and I put the porch light on. Trick or treating has changed. Some of the youngsters just stand there with their bag open, no "trick or treat" or "hi" or anything. Some have a parental escort, sometimes walking, sometimes observing from their vehicle.
