THE MONUMENTS WE'VE DESTROYED.

Here's Chris Matthews saying good things about The America That Worked(TM).  He enjoyed the recently released Bridge of Spies.

In his own words, the real story is about patriotism, rather than the spy exchange itself (Rudolf Abel for Francis Gary Powers, Khrushchev got a spy-master back.)  And Mr Matthews mentions shared values, shared history and culture, people doing the right thing.

Put another way, all the things that the counter-culture, with more than a little help from San Francisco Democrats and the rest of the trendy left, have been busy undermining and deconstructing.
