Critical Mass finds a Glenn Sacks column investigating that real-live gender gap, which he suggests begins in elementary school. I'm inclined to agree ... is it possible to invent a more boy-unfriendly environment than the first grade? (And I'm posting this as someone who was inclined to play by many, but not all, of the rules.)
