CALIFORNIA, REBELLING.

Two years ago, Our Intellectual Betters told us public outdoor gatherings to watch fireworks was hazardous to our health.  Even in California, the only proper response was McAuliffe at Bastogne's NUTS!

Red State's Bob Hoge notes that the Guardians of Public Morals had to scold, and scold.  "Of course, this show of defiance was not appreciated by state officials, who complained that the displays worsened air quality for the holiday."

The public shows returned last summer, and DeKalb's display and band concert were up to their usual high standard.  And yet, the private displays continue.  Apparently fireworks sales have stayed high since the corona tyranny abated, and people might be stocking up for New Year celebrations as well.
