AYATOLLAH-MAHT?

Victor Hanson suggests Iran's government has imploded.  It could be worse than that.  "It is one thing for the people to be ruled by globally feared autocrats armed to the teeth, but quite another to be governed by humiliated, now-impotent incompetents and buffoons."

Sooner or later, the mullahs' control over information in the country is going to run afoul of reality.  State radio can broadcast the latest demands they are making of Israel or the United States all they want.  Sooner or later the people might start asking "Where are those concessions from infidels?"  Probably just before they start asking "Where is rice at grocer?"  "When your country faces the prospect of hunger riots, you are not winning the war."

Turn over the fissile materials.  Stop funding proxies elsewhere in Asia Minor.  Compensate the Gulf Arab states for those damaged hotels.

Let the anaconda's coils tighten.
