The DeKalb parade has returned to the streets. This year's parade stayed a block south of the main street, perhaps to make traffic control less burdensome. The road diet is not yet under way downtown.
There were fewer marching units, and it's apparently still too risky to be tossing candy. Or perhaps candy, like everything else, has become too dear to just throw around.
We'll turn to the preservation railroad scene, an afternoon tradition, presently.
