Similar signs are now being posted in south Florida, although I fear that impatient motorists will pay them little heed.


In California. your tax dollars are at work, slowly providing viaducts and fills for the demonstration bullet train that might connect Merced to Tracy by the mid-2030s.


That tax dollars are involved guarantees that the fool's errand will continue. At least when private investors in the Chicago - New York Electric Air Line saw all their money spent on a big fill over a small creek, they stopped subscribing.
