I found a short clip of a German ceremonial unit parading in Berlin's Pariser Platz.

That march, Preussens Gloria, might have been intended to tease the French, whose embassy is on the Pariser Platz.  Note, though, that there's neither a Gasthaus nor a Parisian café overlooking the Platz.
