POLITICS AND POWER: PEOPLE. The Politics and Power session gave me an opportunity to put some faces with some names, so I can now place Laura, Eszter, Dan, Ana, Mark, and Henry from the panel, and Chris, Russell, and Steve from the audience. Good to chat with you.

In the "living right" department, I stopped to say hi to the session chairman and panelists that trade links with me and ... was asked to join the gang for dinner. Thanks! That part of Chicago south of Roosevelt and north of the St. Charles Air Line is much changed from years ago ... we called on a rather eclectically themed eatery called "Opera" that put together a series of dishes ... sorry I had to leave for something as mundane as a train home. Great chance to talk shop or hobbies with a number of people ... and I discovered that some of the people I met were interviewing with Northern Illinois.
