MISSING THE DESSERTS FOR THE SPECIALS. The latest mailing from the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association includes stories about the competing fudge-bottom pies. For some reason, that didn't register. I worked at the Carson Gulley Commons for three years, and I must have rung up lots of those Carson Gulley pies. But I don't recall eating a slice. (Probably did eat a few.) Paisan's pizza, Babcock Hall ice cream, Red Oak Grill steak sandwiches, yes. Must try a slice of the Union's pie on the next road trip.
