DID NIKOLA TESLA ANTICIPATE THE DARK SIDE OF THE FORCE?

I found this (unverified) collection of Nikola Tesla quotes, among which is "If your hate could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world."

But if it were possible to turn that hate into electricity, couldn't you also use it to zap people who bother you?

On the other hand, if it were possible to channel electricity, wouldn't also be possible to capture it?

Perhaps (it's science fiction, after all) with a small resonant transformer in the handle of the light-saber?
