A small number of the kids appear not to be reacting. I wonder if those have parents like press secretary Jen "Raggedy Ann" Psaki who are OK with their "rising kindergartener" muzzled ad infinitum.
For the most part, though, the kids recognize that they've been set free.
But the children have not been happy. And if you doubt that, you only have to view this viral video showing children at an elementary school in Las Vegas upon learning that their masks are gone as of the following day (although you'll note that many of the children simply stripped off their masks immediately).The mask ukases remain in effect in Illinois schools.
