A YOUNGER FERROEQUINOLOGIST'S PERSPECTIVE.

Has it really been over ten years since we featured a Performance and Practice on an Amtrak Hiawatha?  (No, it's going on six.)

There are others who see the play value in taking a short trip, and here Trains are Awesome takes a trip to Milwaukee.

It's part of a series during which the producer rode the Hiawatha to Milwaukee, a Kenosha Motor Wisconsin Coach Lines bus to Kenosha for a trolley ride, and then to Chicago on the Shoreland 400, er, a Metra commuter train.

I'm pleased to note that the producer, who explained that the dinette along on a short Hiawatha, it was late spring and their Milwaukee Hop ride showed little by way of urban activity, was there for the Wi-Fi equipment, and even more pleased to note that he called attention to the available space to hang out in the lounge, because the crew wasn't commandeering several booths for their rolling office!

With the Republican convention and the German events coming up in the summer, perhaps there will be another Performance and Practice, that is, if I'm not sleeping off the Sprecher.
