CARNIVAL CALL. This week's Carnival of the Capitalists visits View from a Height. The midway is the midway of the late lamented Elitch Gardens, site of two marvelously entwined roller coasters. (Yes, there is a new Elitch Gardens, a Six Flags property. Visitors to Denver ought check out Lakeside Park for that traditional roller coaster experience. I don't know of any other amusement park where one can take a ride on Simon, Theodore, or Alvin.)
