There's a turntable that all cars must transit if they do a circuit of both loops. I've seen such turntables at smaller outdoor railroads, such as the 7 1/2" gauge popular with live steam operators, where those turntables connect with finger tracks on trestles the better to move locomotives on or off of pickup trucks for transportation. Here, the turntable appears to pivot to a track used to store maintenance of way cars.
The rolling stock is heavy enough and the rail bonding secure enough that the locomotive carrying the camera is not rendered immobile by a few dry leaves on the rails.
