I really wish politicians of all stripes would devote more thought to, oh, making appeals to broader segments of the public. Instead, they're all about the rule rigging. I've edited each of the following passages to strip away partisan references and other clues. Decide for yourself, dear reader, who is being called out.I could probably make a post like this once a week. I trust my readers are able to find their own examples and understand the message. Thus, only two excerpts this week, and that will probably be enough for this year.
