Feld Entertainment is casting for a new version of the Greatest Show on Earth, as it plans an animal-free relaunch of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in 2023.Our position has long been "As long as there are jugglers, acrobats, mimes, and contortionists, there will be circus. So let it be with Ringling Barnum. That's how the Ringling Brothers got started in Baraboo, before the trains or the menagerie."
It's always and a train. The culture was not destroyed in a day, and making the itinerant circus great again will take more than a few days.
There are other itinerant circuses still touring, and their 2022 seasons will be revealed over winter.
Find yourself a circus and go to it.
So will it be with Ringling Barnum. There will even be a short stretch of time when the Fiserv Forum will not be available for basketball. "The reimagined circus will start traveling through the country this fall, with a focus on the 'superhuman feats' of the human performers, including high-wire, trapeze and bicycle acts."
The itinerant circuses are still touring. Find yourself a circus and go to it.
