SWIFT OF FOOT IS BRIGHT GREEN.

Good news out of Florida.  "A Brightline train has hit speeds of 130 mph in testing on passenger operator’s corridor between Orlando and Cocoa, Fla., the company announced this morning (March 6, 2023), making it the fastest train ever to operate in Florida and the southeastern U.S."

That's new track, once the ballast has had a chance to settle, there won't be as much dust being kicked up.  Now contemplate those motorists on the parallelling expressway, road-raging their way along at the speed limit or above, and all of a sudden one of these diesel trains passes them as if they're standing still.

Let's hear it for Free Rein to 125.  Is it too much to ask for such speeds to come back to the Hiawatha service?
