LET'S HEAR IT FOR TRANSPARENCY.

The two preceding posts call attention to what happens when People In Authority either obfuscate or simply foul up.  In the presence of continued Official Obfuscation, or perhaps simple incompetence, the conspiracy buffs have a free field.

So here’s a wild thought:

We still haven’t heard from Joe. But let’s just assume he’s in poor health. COVID or whatever. But he was already a fading old man.

What if he dies while they’re trying to get him healthy enough to address the public?

Think how THAT would look.

The immediate comments get further down various rabbit holes.

Our President, in the past half hour or so, did weigh in remotely while his vice president, the putative Democrat nominee now, was firing up the staff to continue the job.

The best thing for Republicans to do might be to call attention to what "continue the job" entails rather than to get into personalities, no matter how annoying the lady's voice and laughter are.  More on that later this week.
