Note some train movements leading to pauses in the parade. Note also that breaking ranks to avoid the horse-apples (what, nobody with a wheelbarrow and scoop shovel in the circus fashion?) is permissible.
It's probably bad form for the kids on hand for the parade to chalk the streets before the parade starts.
That's Milwaukee before the July 2009 circus parade, and the kids have a game of "horseflop bingo" going that they picked up from a wagering event you'll see at the county fairs.
