Jon Stewart recently had fun with Excessively Earnest People who get outraged over pickup truck tailgate decals. (Yes, he worked the truck scrotum into the riff.)

The Maher clip came from Town Hall Media, the Stewart clip from Red State.  There are Excessively Earnest People wearing all sorts of political hats, and having people whose salaries depend on their being funny being funny is refreshing.
