The Federalist's Kylee Zempel has had enough of Anthony Fauci, M.D., and his epigones in the sensationalist press.

Fauci and his followers can preach vaccine efficacy all they want and shame the vaccine-hesitant for dragging their feet. But as long as the answer to every question about getting back to normal remains, “No, it’s still not OK” even after you’re vaccinated, don’t expect healthy and restriction-weary Americans to rush to their nearest distribution center. If Fauci really wants Americans to get a COVID shot, he should stop telling them it’s pointless.

He has worn out his welcome, note the editors of National Review.  "Fauci has turned into the perpetually pessimistic, overcautious, position-shifting, administration-pleasing face of the pandemic recovery. At this point, he’d do himself a favor by sitting out the next opportunity to appear on a TV show or podcast and focus on his day job."  They also ask a pertinent question.  "If getting vaccinated doesn’t allow you to return to something like normality, what’s the point?"  That is, unless "the point" is the restoration of the Divine Rights of Technocrats.
