IT IS BETTER TO HOLD THE CLIPBOARD IN GREEN BAY THAN TO START IN CHICAGO.

The late Zeke Bratkowski, who won a ring with the Bears, won three more as backup (which in those days could mean emergency replacement) to Bart Starr.

The very much alive Jim McMahon, who won a ring with the Bears, won another as backup to Brett Favre.  Despite once being handled rather roughly by Charles Martin, he had this to say about the ongoing quarterback controversy in Chicago.  "Packers are the best organization I played for, Bears are where QBs go to die."  He also noted that the Bears emphasized defense and the running game, which might have crowded out any effort to develop quarterbacks.  Perhaps if they worked on that dimension of their team, the Bears would suck less, and that might help the Packers.
