IS THE ROUT ON? I've tuned in some election coverage. On Fox, Juan Williams is noting that some of the newly-elected Democrats are "conservative." Should they obtain a House majority (Fox has the Democrats one away) they may not acquiesce to all of Speaker Pelosi's coastal preferences. Truth Laid Bear's election tracker has not yet called a Democratic majority.

In Illinois, Governor Blagojevich has been re-elected, fairly easily, and J. Dennis Hastert will continue to represent the Fourteenth District.
