THE ETERNAL FRUSTRATION OF BASEBALL.

For the fourth straight season, the team that eliminated the Milwaukee Brewers represents the senior circuit in the World Series.  During the basketball championship, at least one sports pundit wanted Atlanta and Los Angeles, rather than Milwaukee and Phoenix, for the finalists.  Atlanta did play Los Angeles for the right to get to the World Series.  The junior circuit will be represented by the Astros, which were a National League team for years.  National politics, unfortunately, intrudes.  "Georgia versus Texas. Neither state has a mask mandate. Neither state will have people deputized to check COVID 'papers.' Vaccination rates in both states are about the same as California."  Play ball.
