Here's a look at the tavern-lounge.

How many times do I have to point out that the Electroliners are the Mother of All Bullet Trains.
Those are honest-to-North Shore Line Electroburgers being served at the Illinois Railway Museum during a 1993 commemoration of the line's abandonment.
When the 'Liners went to Philadelphia, the new owner changed the above-the-window decorations in the coach sections to a colonial, red-white-and-blue motif, but they kept the menagerie in the tavern lounge.
Both Electroliners are in preservation, and both museums (the other being at Rockhill Furnace in Pennsylvania, in its Liberty Liner configuration) will welcome your contributions to keep them in a state of good repair.
The Hello Kitty train is hoping for dashing commuters to enjoy their ride. "Renderings of the train show an exterior decorated with decals of pink ribbons and bows that extend the full length of the Shinkansen train, which will travel up to 200 mph between Shin-Osaka station in Osaka Prefecture to Hakata, a city in Fukuoka Prefecture." The article suggests this train is a summer fling, running from the end of June to the end of September.
