WIN THE LOMBARDI TROPHY FOR ALEX TREBEK.

Green Bay Packer quarterback Aaron Rodgers appeared on Celebrity Jeopardy.  Apparently it is a rare event when host Alex Trebek pays homage to a contestant's signature move.

Let the record show that "Rodgers, who answered in such categories as 'Number 12,' 'Leader of the Pack' and 'Bible MVPs,' beat out 'Shark Tank's' Kevin O'Leary and retired astronaut Mark Kelly to win $50,000 for Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer."

In regular play, the Midwest Athletes get some money each time a Packer defender sacks the quarterback.  It's playoff time, and Chicago's radio stations are saying "playoff bound Bears" with the same sort of forced enthusiasm their news counterparts are saying "president-elect Biden."

Last night, the Packers secured the first-round bye and home-field advantage for the playoffs by letting the Bears be the Bears, meaning that if the Bears wanted to run time off the clock and kick field goals, while the Packer offense did its thing, fine.
As he broke Sterling Sharpe's single-season franchise record for receptions with three catches in a span of five plays, Adams set up the Jones score to cap a 12-play, 76-yard march that made it 28-16.

"We spoke it into existence, 'Here's where we put the game away,'" Rodgers said. "A methodical drive. We converted some third downs, guys made some plays. It wasn't splash plays."
Seven minutes off the clock, two possession game afterward, then the defense picked off the latest solution to a Bear quarterback controversy.  "The Cardinals’ loss meant that McCaskey wouldn’t have to think about canning general manager Ryan Pace or Nagy or both — if he was thinking about it at all. (Hint: not even close.)"

Now, just win and keep playing.
