For the 39th anniversary, the National Weather Service in Marquette live-tweeted the events of the November 9-10 storm as they had occurred in 1975.  The station's Twitter feed included a number of announcements of the November 9-10 storm of 2014, as heavy snow and strong winds were once again coming to the Upper Peninsula.  We've seen that event before.

In the six-degrees of separation world, a college-era friend was in town for Tuesday Night Football.  He at one time worked with an Edmund Fitzgerald widow.
